Account Deletion Policy

DIGIPe respects your right to control your personal information.
This page explains how to request account deletion, what information
will be removed, and what records may need to be retained.

Your account, your choice.
You may request deletion of your DIGIPe account at any time.
Requests are subject to identity verification and applicable legal,
insurance, financial, and regulatory requirements.

1. How to Delete Your Account

You may submit an account deletion request using either of the
following methods.

Option 1

Delete Your Account Inside the App

Open the DIGIPe mobile application and follow this path:

Profile → Settings → Delete Account

Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request.
You may be asked to verify your identity using an OTP,
password, or another authentication method.

Option 2

Send an Account Deletion Request by Email

You may also email us from your registered email address.

Please include:

  • Your full name.
  • Your registered mobile number.
  • Your registered email address, if applicable.
  • A clear request to delete your DIGIPe account.

2. Identity Verification

To protect your account from unauthorized deletion, DIGIPe may verify
your identity before processing the request.

Verification may include:

DIGIPe may not process a deletion request if we cannot reasonably
verify that the requester is the account owner or an authorized
representative.

3. What Happens After Account Deletion

After your identity has been verified and the deletion request has
been approved:

Deletion of the DIGIPe account does not automatically cancel an
active insurance policy, financing agreement, EMI obligation, claim,
payment, or other contract with an insurer, lender, payment provider,
or service partner.

4. Information That May Be Retained

Certain information may need to be retained after account deletion
where required by applicable law, regulation, contractual obligation,
fraud-prevention requirement, or legitimate dispute-resolution need.

This may include:

Information retained for legal or regulatory reasons will not be used
for ordinary marketing or general account activity. It will be kept
only for the required purpose and retention period.

5. Pending Policies, Claims, or EMI Obligations

Account deletion may be delayed, restricted, or partially completed
if your account is connected to:

In such circumstances, access to the app may be disabled while the
required records remain stored until the relevant obligation,
investigation, claim, or retention period is completed.

6. Account Recovery

Account deletion is permanent.
Once the deletion process has been completed, your deleted account
cannot normally be restored.

7–30 Business Days

We generally process verified account deletion requests within
this period, subject to identity verification, active obligations,
technical requirements, and applicable legal or regulatory duties.

We may contact you if additional information is required to verify
your identity or complete the request.

Some retained records may remain stored beyond this period where
required by law, insurance regulation, taxation, accounting,
financing, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution requirements.

8. Withdrawal of a Deletion Request

You may contact DIGIPe to withdraw your deletion request before the
deletion process has been completed.

Once the account and eligible information have been permanently
deleted, the request cannot normally be reversed.
